What Is Arthritis ? 

Arthritis is a diseases related to the joints of bone. in this there is a problem of unbearable pain and swelling. survey reveals that its number is in the millions. This problem is more common in older age people. But nowadays youth are also suffering from it. There are more than 100 types of arthritis, some of which are mentioned in detail in the following.                                                                         


Osteo Arthritis

Osteo arthritis is a disease related to the joints of the body. People over the age of 50 are more affected in this. This affects the knees, shoulders and hips. According to a survey, four million people are affected by it and this disease is seen more in woman than man.

Symptoms of Osteo Arthritis

Stiffness and pain in knees, shoulders and hips.
Abnormal movement of the knees and sound from the knees.
Pain due to heavy work and weight lifting.
Difficulty climbing stairs and feeling tired.
Swelling in the affected area pain when applied to the hand.

Causes of Osteo Arthritis

Cartilage bone present between the bone joints. It maintains the gap between the bones. when the cartilage bone gets damaged, the bones present near the joints fuse together causing problem like pain and swelling. This type problem occurs in older people. Obesity can also be a problem. An obese person weighs more build-up on the knees and the gap between bones starts decreasing or due to excessive injury, there can be problem like this.
                                                                                           

Rheumatoid Arthritis

It is an autoimmune diseases.In this, for some region, the body immune system increases, which starts affecting the joints. Apart from this, it also affects the lungs, eyes and slavery gland. This type of  problem is more common in woman than men.

Symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis


Eye color appearing red and less visible from the eye.

Lack of saliva in the mouth, due to which the mouth remains dry.

Shortness of breath and tiredness when walking.

Having problems like dry phlegm.

Joint pain and swelling.

Small and medium types joints have more effect such as fingers and wrists.

Causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease in which the body make antibodies against the joints. This antibody causes inflammation and damages the synovial membrane in the joints. This disease can also be genetic.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

This is a diseases in which there is a problem like pain or stiffness in the back in the initial days. Gradually it starts affecting our hip and neck as well. It often begins to occur between the ages of 15 to 40.

Symptoms of  Ankylosing Spondylitis

In the initial days, whenever we wake up from sleep, then half an hour pain and stiffness would be felt in then waist.

After a few year, apart from the waist, it starts causing problem like pain in the hip and neck.

Back pain is felt in bending over in the morning.

Chest expansion begins to decrease. Meaning when you take your breath, you will have trouble.

As you age, your body tends to lean forward.

The pain subsides with exercise or aerobic exercise, but increases with rest.

Causes of Ankylosing Spondylitese 

To date, no major cause has been known, but it has been observed that most people who have the gene called HLB-27 have a higher chance of developing ankylosing spondylitis, but this does not mean that someone who has HLB-27 is found to have this problem as well.

Psoriatic Arthritis

This disease is a type of arthritis, but there is pain and swelling in the joints as well as itching in the skin and the scale of the skin comes out. As there is a problem this disease starts with itching of the skin but it is not necessary. It can start with joint pain. The serious thing is that there is no cure for it yet, but doctor can control it from their area.

Symptoms of  Psoriatic Arthritis

Nails start getting weak. and it starts to have small pits

Having problems with swelling and pain in the bones of the spine.

It also affects the eyes. Such as redness in the eyes, pain and less visible.

In this, there is pain in the toe and it becomes red and the fingers swell.

Itching problem and red rash appeared in the skin.

Causes of Psoriatic Arthritise 

The main reason for this is that our body's immune system attacks its own body cell and joints. Apart from this, if you have this type of disease in your family history or have psoriasis or any kind of infection this disease can be there.

Gout

This type of arthritis occurs due to the increased level of uric acid in the body. It badly affects the toe, knees and ankle. Apart from this, there are problems like pain and swelling. This type of  problem is more common in men than in women.

Symptoms of Gout

The toes turn red. The skin becomes soft at the site of pain and swelling.

The accumulation of uric acid can be seen in the form of bulges in the fingers, ankles, elbows and knees.

There is also pain and swelling in our fingers, elbows, ankles.

Causes of Gout 

When the amount of uric acid increases in the blood, it gets deposited  in the joints in the form of crystals, due to which the disease of gout occurs. Apart from this, there can be many other reasons  for this happening. Such as diabetes, obesity, having any kind of problem in blood pressure or kidney.
