Anemia is caused by a deficiency of red blood cell. Red blood cell  is formed by bone marrow present inside bones.It is red in color due to the amount of hemoglobin in the red blood cell.

Hemoglobin consists of iron and globular proteins.If the amount of hemoglobin in the blood is less than normal then we have anemia problem.

The work of hemoglobin is to load oxygen and transport it to the cell, which gives energy to the cells.

The problem of anemia is found more in woman because in menstruation or after pregnancy, a large amount of blood gets out of the body.Due to which the amount of iron in the body decreases.

What Are The Causes Of Anemia


  • Lack of iron, vitamin B12 or folic acid in the body
  • Thalassemia or sickle cell disease
  • Blood loss or blood donation in surgery can also cause anemia.
  • Anemia also persists due to diabetes or tuberculosis for a long time.
  • Malaria or septicemia it reduces the life of red blood cell
  • Chance of anemia in women during pregnancy remain.

  • Body weakness and tiredness
  • Heartbeat or feeling nervous
  • Shortness of breath also symptoms of anemia

What Test Do Anemia Have?

In anemia, your blood is examined, in which doctors detect the amount of hemoglobin present in the blood.By the way, the normal amount of hemoglobin present in the blood is 12 to 15.5g/dl. If the amount of hemoglobin is less than normal then you have anemia

In anemia, stool is also tested if you have some parts of blood in your stool,you may have anemia

Sometimes, anemia is also seen due to a wound in the  inner part of the stomach.In this,with the help of doctor endoscopy ,explore the inner parts of the stomach.

Essential Diet

  • To avoid the problem of anemia, an iron-rich diet is needed, which can control the anemia problem
  • If you are a vegetarian, you can consume green vegetables regularly like spinach, beet, fenugreek, broccoli, seeds etc.It contains iron content
  • And if you are a non-vegetarian then you can eat eggs, chicken besides dry fruits can also be consumed
  • Along with iron, we also need vitamin C.Because vitamin C itself  helps in absorbing iron
  • You can also take lemon juice,lime juice,papaya and milk for vitamin C.
